Grants for Allotments
Legal and funding advice for allotments
The Small Holdings & Allotment Act of 1908 stipulates that the local council of any borough, district or parish has a legal obligation to provide allotments, providing at least six tax payers from that region make such a request in writing
The Act's been updated a couple of times since then, but as long as a site is not deemed to be temporary or on private land, the act still applies
Please note that laws may vary within the UK, particularly between England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. So please check whether the article you read is applicable to your region

Bursary for school and community allotments
Information for all who support a school or community allotment. Charles Dowding (he of No Dig fame) has set up a bursary for such special groups who are interested in the NoDig technique. He has so far given books, training vouchers and in one instance compost. To contribute to the Bursary, join his YouTube no dig community by clicking the join button on his channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB1J6siDdmhwah7q0O2WJBg/join
No Dig not only keeps the carbon in the soil but is labour saving with little weeding once the process is established and produces some wonderful crops. To apply for a bursary please contact him via email@example.com with details of your project.
